Hurtle Puss Matilda 72 44 e Asian Tortie Tabby (Known as Mattie)

Born 18th November 2002

Matty Matty Matty

A black tortoiseshell tabby girl known at home as Mattie, she is a quiet dainty very gentle little lady who loves company and happily mothers any kittens. She’s a very intelligent and loving cat with the playful nature of her Burmese cousins. Mattie was our first queen and reigns supreme in our group play area. She loves to have kittens and this year has helped to rear some of Glitterglam Golden Hathors large litter of bengals. She herself has bred some outstanding Burmilla kittens to which she has passed on all her best qualities. She also carries the longhaired gene and may breed Tiffany kittens.

‘Burmillas’ are a colour group of the asian breed. Short haired themselves, like the Asians, they have some chinchilla blood in their ancestry which results in a soft, white undercoat, dusted with a ticking of another colour, i.e. Blue, Lilac or Carmael. See Clarenlis Pussywillow and Clarenlis Catkin. Tiffanies are the semi longhaired version of the Asian group.
